Hopewell Rocks, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick

One of the first planned stops on my trip out east was the Hopewell Rocks, in Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick.  This along the cost of the Bay of Fundy, which boasts some of the highest tides in the world.  It was really something to see the rocks at high tide, and even more amazing to be able to walk around at low tide.  A beautiful place.

Hopewell Cape Panoramic

This was taken near Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick. I truly enjoyed my time in New Brunswick.  Quiet moments of reflection.
The dog was loving this area, running in and out of all the little trails.  She seemed completely surprised when she sank into the red mud, her expression was priceless.  This is obviously at high tide.  This entire landscape is completely unrecognizable at low tide, I love that the scenery changes so much from the tides.

Road Trip

William Mitton Bridge - known as the 'Traveling Bridge' as it was moved here from another county.  Built in 1942.  Vehicles no longer pass over the bridge, but you can still reach this gem on foot.  It is 23.2 metres (76 feet) long.  Came across this completely by accident after a wrong turn.

This was my first real taste of the beautiful red clay that abounds in New Brunswick, and as you can see the tide is out.
